The Old Kitchen

This was the kitchen until 1998, and the blackened hearth is still in the wall — swept, sealed and left exactly where it was. The smallest room in the house and the quietest, tucked at the back away from the temple road. One bed, one chair, one very good reading lamp. Single travellers who intend to write something usually end up here.
